Helloise Russell-Fergusson

Born Scotstounhill, Renfrew. Died Oban.

Recorded for Beltona in the early 1930s and later on her own Clarsach Recordings label. Her performances in Brittany in 1934 were highly influential in sparking the twentieth century revival of the harp in that Celtic country inspiring, among others, (Jord) Cochevelou – father of Alain or Alan Stivell.
